How do you bill?

Internet Call Manager provides a free trial of eight Call Notification Pop-ups to guarantee your satisfaction.

We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard. You can update your credit card information at any time through our secure Web site, which you can access through your ICM software by clicking on the Account button, or through the My Account page. Once there, choose the My ICM Payment Plan link.

For your convenience, we will automatically renew your subscription at the end of each payment period. You can view your billing history and other account details at any time on your Account Page.

What is the cost of ICM?

There are two levels of base ICM service to choose from:

ICM - Offers notification of incoming calls, the choice of several call-handling options, and voicemail which works when you're on the Internet. Priced at $5.95 per month (plus applicable taxes in Canada)

ICM Deluxe - Offers notification of incoming calls, the choice of several call-handling options, and full-time voicemail for your online and off-line messaging needs. Priced at $7.95 per month (plus applicable taxes in Canada).

Both base ICM service packages offer the following call-handling options:

  • Play Msg - Plays the caller one of six messages that you can customize yourself.
  • Voicemail - Lets the caller leave you a message.
  • Ignore - Dismisses the call by ringing out, as if you were not home.

If you wish to use the Answer and Transfer call-handling options after your free trial, you will need to purchase an optional Call Pack. Pricing for Call Packs is different since these features require that we route calls through the long distance telephone network.

When you use the Answer or Transfer call-handling options, the call is timed from the moment you are connected to your caller until the call is disconnected. A Call Pack is the total amount of time, in minutes, that you can talk to your callers each month before having to pay a per-minute charge. After your Call Pack allotment has been used, there is a $0.10 per minute charge.

  • Answer - Disconnects you from the Internet and allows you to take the call.
  • Transfer - Forwards your call to any telephone number in Canada or the US.

We offer the following Call Packs:

  • Any time used beyond the monthly Call Pack allotment is charged at $0.10 per minute.
  • Base Service and Call Pack commitments must be made for the same period of time.

How do charges appear on my credit card statement?

Charges for ICM appear on credit card statements in one of three ways, those being:

  • IIA-Internet Call Manager
  • IIA
  • INT-BEDFORD-CA

IIA represents our company name, InfoInterActive Corp., and we are located in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada.

How long is my free trial?

Internet Call Manager provides a free trial of eight Call Notification Pop-ups, regardless of how you handle those eight calls.

Are prices in Canadian or American funds?

All prices are listed in your local currency.

Can I carry over any unused time to the next month?

We do not allow unused Call Pack time to be carried forward from one month to the next. However, you have the flexibility to change your Call Pack at any time if it is not meeting your calling needs. Change requests become effective in the following month. You can make arrangements to change your Call Pack at any time by visiting the ICM Payment Plan page. You can access this page from your ICM software by clicking the Account button, or through the My Account page. Once there, choose the My ICM Payment Plan link.

How do I cancel the ICM Service?

To cancel your ICM service, email us at help@internetcallmanager.com.

If you have subscribed to ICM and wish to cancel your service before your paid time is up, we recommend that you use the service until a few days before your subscription period is over to get the full benefit. If you change your mind and wish to cancel your service early, please be reminded that we cannot issue you a refund since the free trial exists to guarantee your satisfaction.

What do I do if my phone number has changed?

ICM accounts are specific to your phone number, not to you or your household, so if your phone number has changed you will need to sign up for a new account. Please follow the steps below:

  • Uninstall the ICM software on your machine because it's configured to monitor your old phone number.
  • Sign up for a new account. During the signup process, please download and install the new softare as if you were a new customer.
  • Once you have installed the new ICM software, please email us at help@internetcallmanager.com as soon as possible, indicating your old phone number and the new one so we can transfer the credit from your old account.

Do you live in different residences throughout the year?

You can easily maintain accounts in each of your residences while located there, here's how:

  • When you leave your current residence, email us to cancel that account.
  • Sign up for an account with the phone number at your new residence.
  • When you move back to the original residence, simply email us again to reactiviate the account for that phone number.
  • Continue cancelling and reactivating accounts for each move. Records of cancelled accounts are maintained on our sytems for up to two years.

Important!

If you are using the same computer to run ICM in each of your residences you'll have to uninstall the software when you leave one residence and reinstall it for the phone number at your next residence. If you don't uninstall the software before reinstalling, the software will retain your old phone number.

Are there extra charges associated with the ICM service?

Internet Call Manager requires special call forwarding feature(s) so it can notify you of calls. ICM requires Call Forward Busy, while ICM Deluxe requires Call Forward Busy and Call Forward No Answer. The cost is usually $1 to $2 per month billed from your telephone company, and sometimes there is a small initial set-up fee. In most cases we order the feature(s) on your behalf when you sign up for the service. If we are unable to order for you, we'll e-mail instructions to you.

Is there a price difference between Answer and Transfer?

There is no difference in cost between Answered and Transferred calls. By purchasing a call pack, you get access to both of these features. Use them however you wish.
