Customizing your Message Buttons

When a call is received by ICM, a pop-up window (referred to as the Incoming Call Pop-up) is displayed showing you who is calling:

Selecting the Play Msg button displays a menu from which you can choose which message you wish to play to your caller.

The I'll Call You Back and Call Me Back options are the defaults.  You can record a custom message, but you cannot change the labels on these.  There are; however, an additional four messages that you can customize to suit your own needs.  For information on customizing your greetings, refer to Customizing Your Greetings.

To customize your Message Buttons.

From the ICM Main Window click the Setup button.

The ICM Setup window opens with the General submenu visible.

Ensure that the correct menu is displayed by clicking the plus sign (+) beside the Custom Greetings menu item, then click on Message Manager.

Type your new button labels names in the spaces provided.

Note:  The field labels (Special Greeting #1:, etc.) correspond to the custom messages you chose when you customized your greetings.  You will be able to edit these only once you have recorded a corresponding custom message.  For more information,.refer to Customizing your Greetings.

Click the OK button to accept the changes and dismiss the dialog.

The Cancel Button lets you dismiss the dialog without accepting any changes you might have made.
