When a call is received by ICM, a pop-up is displayed showing information about the caller. This pop-up is called the Incoming Call Pop-up. The Incoming Call Pop-up's Transfer button will transfer the call to another phone number. The actual behavior of the software will depend on whether you have entered transfer numbers, and if so, how many you have entered.
|
If you have entered no transfer numbers |
the Transfer button will be grayed out. |
|
If you have entered only one transfer number |
the Transfer button will immediately transfer the call to that number. |
|
If you have entered more than one transfer number |
the pop-up extends to let you choose to which number you want to transfer the call. |
For details on setting these numbers, refer to Entering your Transfer Phone Numbers.
To have the incoming call redirected to one of your transfer numbers:
Click the Transfer button on your Incoming Call Pop-up.
If you have more than one transfer number entered (maximum of four), the window is extended to include buttons for each of the transfer numbers you entered:
If the window is updated with buttons corresponding to transfer numbers, click the button associated with the number to which you want to transfer the caller.
The caller hears a default message which advises the caller that you know they have called and they are being transferred to another number.
Note: You can customize the greeting played to the caller. For details, refer to Customizing Your Greetings.
