General options are set from the ICM Main Window's Setup button.
General options include specifying how ICM behaves on start-up, whether a sound is played when an incoming call is detected, and what browser type you use.

To specify general set-up options:
Click the ICM Main Window's Setup button.
The Setup window opens.
Ensure that the correct menu is displayed by clicking on General.
Enable the options of your choice by clicking their boxes accordingly. The options are:
Note: The Confirm disconnect on answer option is available only if you are using a PPP or AOL connection.
Click the OK button to accept the changes and dismiss the dialog.
The Cancel button lets you dismiss the dialog without accepting any changes you might have made.
