Customizing your Message Buttons

When ICM notifies you of an incoming call, selecting the Play Msg button on the Incoming Call Pop-up displays a menu from which you can choose which message you wish to play to your caller:

The I'll Call You Back and the Call Me Back options are the defaults.  You can record a custom message for each of these options, but you cannot change the button label.  There are, however, an additional four buttons that you can customize to suit your needs.  For information on customizing your greetings, see Customizing Your Greetings.

To customize your Message Buttons.

Click the ICM Main Window's Setup button.

The Setup window opens.

Ensure that the correct menu is displayed by clicking on the down arrow beside the Custom Greetings menu item, then click on Message Manager.

Type your Message Button names in the spaces provided for one of the available Special Greetings.

Note: The field labels (Special Greeting #1:, etc.) correspond to the custom messages you chose when you customized your greetings.  You will be able to edit these once you have recorded a corresponding custom greeting.

Click the OK button to accept the changes and dismiss the dialog.

The Cancel button lets you dismiss the dialog without accepting any changes you might have made.
