When you receive a call while on the Internet and the ICM Incoming Call Pop-up is displayed, a generic greeting is played when you choose a call-handling option.
You can change your greetings with a simple phone call. All you will need is the correct phone number and a PIN number to identify you. In order to proceed you will have to obtain these with the help of your ICM Main Window.
Note: For information on how to display the ICM Main Window, refer to Opening the ICM Main Window.
To obtain the phone number and your PIN number:
Click the Setup button
The Setup window opens.
Ensure that the correct menu is showing by clicking on Custom Greetings.
Once you have the phone number and your PIN number you can change your greetings.
To customize your greetings:
Ensure the Customize Greetings window is open by following the directions in "To obtain the phone number and your PIN number:" above.
The Custom Greetings window is open:
Place a phone call to the number you just located and enter your PIN number when prompted.
The automated attendant lists the available options.
Follow the automated attendant's instructions as they walk you through the process of changing one of your greetings.
Note: When you customize your special greeting, make sure you keep track of which special greeting had which message, you'll need this for customizing your message buttons.
